14 Insane Pools You Won't Believe Actually Exist-(Amazing 4 million+ views in 3 months!!!)

Here are the top 14 most craziest pools in the world that you need to go swimming in from one in a waterfall to the deepest pool ever!

Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr

8. The San Alfonso del Mar Seawater Pool

Located in Algarrobo, Chile this pool is the second largest in the world. It lost the title of the largest to CityStars pool in Egypt but, it’s okay because they are built by the same people. It sits on 20 acres of land and it is actually made of salt water. 66 million gallons of it to be exact. The water is taken from the pacific ocean and then treated before being added to the pool. The pool took a whopping 2 billion to make and the annual upkeep for the location is 4 million.

7. The Library Pool

The Library resort is located in Thailand and one of its main features is this eerily pool. It’s called the Red Pool and don’t worry it’s not blood. It's not even dyed either. The makers of the pool employed a clever optical illusion to create their signature pool. The color is caused by the combined reflection of the red, orange and yellow tile at the bottom of the pool. So you won’t look like Carrie on prom night when rising from this natural oddity.

6. Giola Lagoon

This natural pool is located on the Greek Island of Thassos. While the pool isn’t the easiest thing to get to the unbelievable view and thrill of swimming in it are well worth it. It overlooks the Aegean sea and the temperature of the lagoon is actually warmer than the sea itself so that swimming in it is much more pleasant. Not much is really known about this pool because of its general remoteness and its difficulty to reach.

5. Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa

The presence of this Lagoon was actually caused by the building of a geothermal power plant nearby in Iceland. The plant was put in in the mid-1970s to early 1980s. The pool was built when it became common for people to bathe in the nearby. The effects that the pool water had on skin was discovered early on. The one-two punch of the mineral rich water and the mud at the bottom of the lagoon causes a considerable difference in the condition of people who suffer from skin diseases, most notably psoriasis. The owners of the pool have since capitalized on this to make one of the foremost spas in the world. The owners of the pool also try to have a strong focus on the environment because of the proximity of the geothermal plant. They want to promote uses of clean energy.

4. Grand Wailea

The Grand Wailea hotel in Hawaii is known for its pools. It’s hard to compete when a beautiful ocean is just steps away from your hotel room but, the Grand Wailea delivers. The actually feature two pools. One is a 4,850 so foot pool which would be impressive enough for any other hotel but, the Grand Wailea’s main draw is its Wailea Canyon Activity Pool. This mammoth of a pool actually has six different floors, each equipped with its own pool. The Canyon Activity Pool is 2000 feet long, 25700 square feet and it has a whopping 770,000 gallons contained. One of the coolest things about this pool is the hotel’s “water elevator”. The water elevator can be used to take people from floor to floor of the pool. The hotel’s spa is actually award winning. It made the “Top Ten Spas in the US” list made by Travel and Leisure magazine.

3. The Homestead Crater

The homestead crater is a spring hiding in a 55 feet tall crater in Midway, Utah. It’s a limestone cave that was naturally hollowed out by nature and the water inside runs at about 90 degrees. Since the location has become a popular tourist spot they have hollowed out a tunnel to make the water in the crater more accessible. They also allow scuba diving, snorkeling, and even paddleboard yoga classes. This pool is the only location in the continental united states that has warm water and it has become a favorite for divers because of that. The nearby Homestead Resort does admission and tours.

2. The Hanging Gardens

Ever wanted to feel like you’re going to fall into the forest? Then the Ubud Hanging Gardens Hotel in Bali, Indonesia is for you. This infinity pool is famous for its amazing views. You will appear to float over the forest and hotel room is equipped with its own pool. Hope you’re not afraid of heights.

1.Devil’s Pool

That is not just a waterfall. It’s a pool too. A pool for crazy people. It’s at the edge of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. The pool is located at the top of the waterfall at a little over 400 feet. Sound dangerous? It is. It’s why this particular pool has become a popular destination for adrenaline junkies. The pool is a natural rock pool that lets you get almost right up to the edge of the waterfall without falling over. The pool can only be used in September and December though for safety reasons. The fear factor of the pool is more intense because there is no noticeable ledge to the pool. There is a rock that protects the swimmers from tumbling over, though.

11 Amazing Things To Do in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia-(Amazing 800k+ views!!!)

Get more things to do in Kuala Lumpur, and travel tips: http://migrationology.com/2014/02/kuala-lumpur-travel-guide-food-lovers/

I'm Mark Wiens and thank you very much for watching this video about a few of the top things to do in Kuala Lumpur, a city that just happens to be one of my favorite cities to visit in Southeast Asia. It's the largest and probably the most important and influential city in Malaysia and truly has some amazing sites to offer. Along with modern skyrise towers like the Petronas Towers, there are still lots of traditional historic buildings as well. The awesome mixture of cultures, the mix of traditional and modern, and very importantly, the outstanding cuisine is what makes Kuala Lumpur such a great city to explore!

1. On this list of top things to do in Kuala Lumpur I first stop by the most famous landmark of the the city: the Petronas Towers. These twin giant sky scrapers are huge, and they literally reach towards the heavens and touch the clouds. On the bottom of the Petronas Towers is a pretty fancy shopping mall while the tops of the towers are filled with offices. On the 41st and 42nd floor, there is a sky bridge which connects the two towers together and which is open for visitors. Years ago, it used to be free entrance but unfortunately now they have started to charge a rather steep 80 Malaysian Ringgits per person.

2. After the visiting the Petronas towers, number two on the list is the historical district of old Kuala Lumpur. Visiting and walking around the area is one of the top things to do in Kuala Lumpur and you shouldn't miss the opportunity. From Merdeka Square to the old railroad station, you'll see some amazing architecture and buildings. Another must visit is the National Mosque, which is known as Masjid Negara. With a capacity of 15,000, this is the central and most visited mosque in the city.

3. The Menara KL Tower, along with the Petronas Towers, is one of the dominating features of Kuala Lumpur's skyline. At 421 meters in height, it's one of the world's tallest communications towers. I was lucky enough to be invited to the annual BASE jumping event which was held at the KL Tower so I had a pass to go to the top for the incredible view and to see the event (http://migrationology.com/2012/10/jordan-kilgore-base-jump-kuala-lumpur/). The KL Tower also offer look out viewpoints and a number of restaurants where you can dine with an incredible view.

4. Number 4 is Little India which is better known as Brickfields. Kuala Lumpur is home to many Indian's many from the south of the country. Brickfields is a popular place to browse, shop for all sorts of Indian products and most importantly to eat at some seriously delicious Indian restaurants. If you're looking for good Indian food in Kuala Lumpur, check out this restaurant: http://migrationology.com/2012/11/south-indian-food-kuala-lumpur-vishalatchi/

5. Chinatown, located on Petaling Street, is one of the biggest Kuala Lumpur attractions. It's mostly known for it street shopping and restaurants. You can find all sorts of fake brand names and nearly everything imaginable.

6. Thean Hou Temple is one of the most impressive Daoist temples in Kuala Lumpur. It's free to visit and offers insights into the Hainanese community in the city and there are also great views of the city.

7. Central Market, is a top tourist shopping attraction in Kuala Lumpur. Though many of the products are rather touristy, there are some good things waiting to be found.

8. Within central Kuala Lumpur are the KL Lake Gardens and Bird Park. It makes a great tropical escape to the bustling city life.

9. The Batu Caves, located just outside the central part of the city is one of the best things to do in Kuala Lumpur. The caves and shrines are one of the most sacred Hindu sites outside of India.

10. Chow Kit Market is the central fresh wet market in the city. Everyday thousands of shoppers get their Malaysian food ingredients at this interesting market.

11. Malaysian food is the ultimate attraction to visiting Kuala Lumpur. With a great mixture of local Malay, Chinese, and Indian, there's no shortage of incredible dining that will leave you satisfied and hungry for more! For myself, eating is one of the best things to do in Kuala Lumpur!

Hope you enjoyed this list and hope you have a wonderful visit!

Bringing joy and entertainment since their beginnings in the Middle Ages, amusement and theme parks make you think of cotton candy, carnival games and thrill rides. There are more than 1300 worldwide. Sometimes however, theme parks can lose their funding, people just stop coming or other unforeseen circumstances occur. When this happens they are rarely torn down; they are left to rot. Then they become an entirely new attraction.

10 Mind Blowing Optical Illusions-(Amazing 8 million views!!!)

Amazing Optical illusions that will tease your brain

Flat 3rd Dimension and Following eyes video by Brusspup

Includes footage produced by the Royal Institution https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOeo8zMBfTA

Description:

One of the most fascinating organs in our body is the human brain. You could say that it is central control, or headquarters for our body. Without our brain, we are not alive. The brain is where our consciousness lives and our memories are preserved. If we are considered “brain dead”, then the plug gets pulled on our life support. It is a complex organ of fatty tissue, and the brain helps us process different kinds of information through our five sense. Using our nose, the brain can tell us whether we are experiencing a pleasant smell or something foul. With our ears, the brain can help us process the noises we are hearing and be able to tell the difference from language to noises. With our mouth, the brain helps us figure out whether the food we are eating is good for us and not poisonous. Finally, with our eyes, the brain helps us process the information we are seeing visually. Our brain and our eyes have a beautiful relationship by letting us see colors, nature, people, and more, along with associate these visions with emotions. With such wondrous capabilities, it can be easy to just assume and trust that what our eyes are telling us is true. Well, not exactly.

In the last several centuries, optical illusions have been playing tricks with our brain and causing us to question what is real and what is fiction. Optical illusions can be created by Mother Nature, or they can be manmade, thus creating an entire art dedication to optical illusions and messing with our brain and everything that we know about the world around us. With the innovation and evolution of optical illusions, we are now getting confused more often than ever before! People have even dedicated their lives and support themselves from creating their own optical illusions. These artists even get a kick from us stepping on their painting and thinking that we are about to descend into a multiple story fall, but instead, our foot remains on solid ground.

This video has ten of the most mind blowing optical illusions. They are so crazy that you would think that they were simply a trick of the camera or computer. What makes these optical illusions extra special is the fact that they play with your perception using colors, angles, light, shapes, sizes, and more. Our eyes have been conditioned and groomed to see certain things by the way the light hits an object, or by the way and angle is seen by our eyes. Reality can be manipulated so many ways by a simple tilt of the head or a beam of light, or a splash of color. By breaking down why you are seeing the optical illusion in the first place, we can start descending upon the bridge of understanding. Probably one of the most unsettling things about optical illusions is that the seed of doubt can bleed over to our normal everyday lives and cause us to question everything by just looking outside.

13 Most Isolated Communities-(Amazing 1 million views in a month!!!)

Very few people have ever been to these 13 crazy remote places it shocking how secluded these cities and towns actually are.

Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr

4. Grise Fiord

If you were ever looking on the globe or google earth at the islands in Northern Canada and wondered if people actually live there, the answer is yes and Grise Fiord is probably one the most shocking examples. Located within the Nunavut Territory of Canada, it’s certainly one of the coldest inhabited places on earth, with a yearly average temperature of -16.5 degrees C and the northernmost settlement in Canada. Not too surprisingly, the population here seems to be steadily declining and only houses 150 permanent residents. No connecting roads means the only way to connect to the outside world is by airplane. Due to the difficulty of getting products to this isolated community, prices are much higher for everyday items and it’s like this for much of the Nunavut Territory. In this photo we see a gallon of milk here priced at an outrageous 10 canadian dollars in the capital city of the Inuit Territory, Iqaluit

3. La Rinconada, Peru

The highest permanent settlement in the world would be La Rinconada, located near the border of Bolivia in the Andes Mountains. Situated 16,700, or 5100 feet above sea level it’s easy to see why it’s one of the most isolated communities in the world. In this photo, you see a giant glacier known as, Bella Durmiente or Sleeping beauty looking down upon the city. With over 50,000 inhabitants, it’s not necessarily a small city community. If you’re thinking about visiting this place though, think again. There are no hotels and no hospitals! The community also lacks police and government presence as well. Built as an unregulated gold mining town, it’s home to some of the most brutal living conditions imaginable. Many visitors would suffer from altitude sickness, but with the lure of striking it rich with gold, people have found a way to adapt to the environment. Although this might look somewhat like a picturesque city, the lake in the background you see is heavily polluted with mercury and cyanide. Pollution is a serious issue here and will most likely be the city’s downfall in the future.

2. Longyearbyen- Long- yay-er-bine

Just by looking at Svalbard on a map you can probably guess that it’s isolated. The largest settlement and administrative capital of Svalbard, Norway has a population of 2,100 residents. It’s the northernmost settlement with over 1000 residents in the world and was nearly destroyed by the German Navy during World War II. It’s located 1,269 miles or 2042 kilometers north from the Norwegian Capital of Oslo, making it a tad difficult to govern. Here in Longyearbyen, snowmobiles are actually the prefered method of transportation. A few ships will transport coal from this archipelago and with a few flights from Oslo and Russia each day, Longyearbyen keeps contact with the outside world. The city is so north, that sometimes during certain months, the sun will never rise and even sunlight during midnight!

1.Tristan da Cunha

This island gets the nickname as the most remote inhabited island in the world because it sort of is. Tristan is the tip of a volcano thrusted upwards from the ocean floor and by looking at the signs, you’ll definitely feel a long ways away from home. The elevation peaks at 2000 meters or about 6500 feet. The closest land mass is Saint Helena only about 1500 miles or 2400 km away. It seems to be situated directly between the southern tips of Africa and South America and is only accessible by navigating the brutal seas . You might imagine that life on the world’s most remote island is a little bit rough, but people here enjoy a good standard of living here. Crime seems virtually nonexistent on the biggest settlement called Edinbourgh of the Seven Seas. Many family owns potato patches to grow there own food. Despite the good quality of living an active volcano constantly threatens to destroy the city and almost did in the 1960’s. It’s not just people living here, the local rockhopper penguins are extremely popular among those who are somehow able visit this isolated community.

Complete video of Felix Baumgartner jump-Red Bull Stratos-(Over 18 million+ views!!!)

October 14, 2012, Felix Baumgartner ascended more than 24 miles above Earth's surface to the edge of space in a stratospheric balloon. Millions across the globe watched as he opened the door of the capsule, stepped off the platform, and broke the speed of sound while free falling safely back to Earth. Felix set three world records that day—and inspired us all to reach beyond the limits of our own realities, and reimagine our potential to achieve the incredible.

GoPro was honored to be a part of this epic achievement, with seven HERO2 cameras documenting every moment. From the airless freeze of outer space, to the record-breaking free fall and momentous return to ground—see it all through Felix's eyes as captured by GoPro, and experience this incredible mission like never before. No one gets you closer than this.

Description:

Also known as the Land Down Under, or OZ, the island nation of Australia captivates the imagination of travellers thanks to its history, people and natural beauty. Sure a significant part of Australia’s birth was thanks to the prison colonies that were established for convicts of the British Empire – but today it’s much more than that. Ayers Rock, the Great Barrier Reef and the sprawling Outback have all become symbols of the country’s diverse habitats and are all popular destinations for tourists who flock there every year. Not into the natural beauty? Australia also has some iconic man-made landmarks, including the world famous Sydney Opera House, which are known by people all over the world.

Thanks to films like Crocodile Dundee and the nature specials of Steve Irwin, people not from Australia also know that down under there are some pretty bizarre and dangerous animals. In fact, when you consider animals like the kangaroo or duckbilled platypus, it seems like Mother Nature packed all her strangest creations onto Australia. Yes, there are dangerous animals everywhere in the world but pound for pound, Australia seems to have the biggest share of sharks, spiders, snakes and other deadly creatures that walk the earth. Why would anyone choose to live in a place inhabited by so many lethal animals? To be honest, most aren’t common and people have adapted to living with some of the more common creatures that they happen to cross paths with.

10 Strangest Ocean Phenomena You Won't Believe!-(Amazing 10 million views!!!)

Top 10 Amazing things that occur in the deep blue ocean. Creatures, and strange underwater events!

Description:

With water covering 70% of the Earth’s surface, it’s no wonder that oceans yield spectacular species, with scientists finding up to four new species a day, according to the World Register of Marine Species, or WoRMS. They add that there are also approximately 228,450 marine species known to scientists with some two million more multi-celled marine organisms still to be discovered. The ocean is also home to other phenomena including giant beached whales, bioluminescence – when water appears to be glowing - and the yearly migration of millions of red sea crabs on Christmas Island, stopping drivers and pedestrians in their tracks. Seahorses continue to fascinate people time and again, not only for their combination of a norse-like head with S-shaped bodies but also because of what’s seemingly a reversal of roles in the natural world i.e. the male having to do the “pushing.” Rogue waves are an amazing phenomena that could have deadly consequences too, engulfing ships and fishermen in its wake. Short-tail stingrays are also considered to be dangerous. The death of Australian wildlife expert Steve Irwin, “The Crocodile Hunter,” by a sting ray brought the species to prominence in 2006 but in reality, that was a freak occurrence that happens on extremely rare occasions. Sea pens and glass squid appear to go hand in hand, although neither are what they seem. Underwater, famed French marine explorer Jacque Costeau once said “When one man, for whatever reason, has the opportunity to lead an extraordinary life, he has no right to keep it to himself.” Such is the inspiration by marine biologists, sailors, and regular people alike to continue to explore life under water. Despite man’s advancements of NASA and seeking life on other planets, it’s seeing what’s under the earth’s surface where marine life will help us truly understand our human world.

10 Mysterious Photos That Cannot Be Explained-(Amazing 60 million views!!!)

These unexplained pictures will leave scratching your head.

For copyright matters please contact us at: david.f@valnetinc.com

Description:

A picture is said to be worth a thousand words, though fact versus fable can be difficult to determine when evidence is limited and theories run wild. Stories associated with these images are not easy to explain or even not at all probable. Since the beginning of time, man has bared witness to the strange and unexplainable. With no cameras or smartphones to capture these moments, the ancients would scribe what they saw on stone. Lucky for us, today we have the technology to see things that the human eye does not. For example...

A father takes a photo of his daughter one afternoon while the two were together outside and no one else around. When the picture is developed, you can clearly see a man in a space suit standing a few feet behind the little girl. Where did he come from?

What about the mysterious old lady seen calmly taking photographs of the chaos that proceeded the gunshots that fateful day in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963, when John F. Kennedy was assassinated? There are pictures to prove her presence but no records of her existence...intrigued yet?

See mind boggling images that even the most skeptical of the skeptics may have a hard time disputing. Everything from the mysterious death of Elisa Lam, pyramids on the moon, sea monsters to unidentified flying objects hovering around our planets atmosphere, are all captured. Check out the video and see for yourself.

The Amazon River has a greater flow of water than the next 8 largest rivers in the world combined! That is a lot of water to deal with. And did you know that the vast majority of the world's millions of different species can be found in the Amazon rainforest? It is a hotbed of life! In fact, it is so huge that there are several uncontacted tribes living deep in the jungle. This means that they have not yet made any contact with the outside world. And these are but a few of the wild things that make the Amazon one of the most unique places on Earth.

The history of the Amazon can be quite astounding as well. There are few things as interesting or intriguing to a scientist as the Amazon rainforest. A newly discovered, blind, and subterranean ant species in the Amazon is thought to be a direct descendent of the very first species of ant

Some ants in the Amazon are known for raiding neighboring colonies and taking slaves

Martin Strel, a long distance swimmer from Slovenia, once swam the entire length of the Amazon in just over 2 months

For three weeks every year the full moon causes a tidal wave to roll up the Amazon river every single night. Some surfers have been known to ride the wave for over 10 kilometers

Underneath the Amazon is another river. It is about 4 km deeper, significantly wider, and just as long. It has been named the Rio Hamza.

20% of the world's oxygen comes from the Amazon Rainforest

Although numerous expeditions in the past tried to find the lost ancient cities of the Amazon that were rumored to be covered in gold, scientists eventually started doubting that civilization could prosper in such harsh conditions and on such infertile soil.

Scientists have found evidence of terra preta, or dark soil, covering vast patches of the Amazon. They think that ancient civilizations covered the ground with this man-made and nutrient rich soil which would have allowed cities and farms to be built

17 year old Juliane Koepcke landed in the middle of the Amazon when her plane crashed. All 91 other passengers died but she walked for 10 days before rescuers found her

The Amazon is thought to have 2.5 million species of insects and more than half are thought to live in the canopy of the Amazon.

10 Most Dangerous Roads in the World-(Amazing 13 million views!!!)

Top 10 of the scariest, most unsafe highways, bridges and roads ever built. Car and truck accidents and deaths are a common thing on these streets. Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg

For copyright matters please contact us at: david.f@valnetinc.com

The invention of the road dates back to ancient times thousands of years ago. It was one of the most innovative inventions that connected cities and countries together. Anything that had wheels had an easier time getting by, and it was the birth of road organization as we all figured out which side of the road we would use to move forward. Today, roads are paved with concrete, and man has managed to create roads in the most impossible of spaces, making the world more accessible than ever. However, just because a road can be built, it doesn’t mean that it should. Some roads seem to defy the boundaries that Mother Nature set upon us, but have we ever thought about the fact that the boundaries were set for a reason?

The roads on this list are considered to be some of the most dangerous in the world. Whether they have a high death toll, destroy a multitude of vehicles, or cause a numerous amount of accidents, it is best that experienced veteran drivers who aren’t seeking a thrill use these roads. Some of these roads defy physics and are sculpted on the sides of mountains. While it is a pretty concept, with breathtaking landscapes, they usually mean a pending death should you turn a corner wrong or even go just a few miles over the speed limit. So, is it worth risking losing your vehicle, or even your life by taking these roads? Some people don’t have a choice, as these roads provide the only access to major towns and home.

For example, the Himalayan Road is one of the highest roads in the world, as it sits at over 11,000 feet in altitude. Which means that an impending death awaits on each stretch of road, which is pretty much made of crumbling dirt. A lot of buses and trucks use the road since it connects India with Tibet, so not only do you have the road to worry about, but also the traffic of other cars who may or may not be paying attention to the road. Next up, we have the James Dalton Highway, which has become a legend by itself. The road sits in the most northern part of Alaska, which means it’s icy and cold. Not to mention that the road has a lot of potholes and is used by big oil rigs on a daily basis. Windshields get destroyed from falling rocks, and headlights are knocked out as well. Not to mention that this highway is also in the middle of nowhere, so if you run out of gas, you’re royally screwed. Rental companies won’t even allow renters to drive their cars on the highway, for fear of damage and loss of their product.

These are yet, but a few of the most dangerous roads in the world. Some people have created video channels of luxury vehicles trying out these terrains, with many of them not being able to drive away from the damage inflicted. So, if you see a sign for a road that says, “Highway to Death/Hell/etc.” it might be best if you just turn around and find another route.
