Top 10 Worst Countries in the World to Live

The Top 10 Most Horrible Countries to Live In

Number 10: Kenya

Kenya was one of Africa’s most developed countries and a popular tourist destination. In recent years it has become a place of political and economic turmoil. Leaders have been brought to International Criminal Court and accusations of human rights violations have tainted the country.

Number 9: Ethiopia

One of the reasons Ethiopia joins the list as one of the worst countries to live is in fact another country, Somalia. Somalian refugees have strained the already critical resources of a struggling country. Shelter, food and water are scarce and they remain fully dependent on foreign aid and support.

Number 8: Sierra Leone

With a population of 8 million, the ebola virus wiped out 3,000 people and another 10,000 were stricken ill. The country is most well known for the term ‘blood diamond’. Diamonds that were mined during the many years of civil war that were sold to fund illegal operations/drug trade. The majority of the population has no access to adequate healthcare. Epidemics of yellow fever and cholera happen every year, killing thousands of people.

Number 7: Syria

United Nations has stated that on average since 2011, 10,000 people have been killed every year due to the crackdown on any opposition that is shown to the government. Even with enormous sanctions opposed by the international community, the country still continues to have political uprisings and mass executions.

Number 6: North Korea

North Korea is ruled by the government. The country is completely cut off from the outside. There is no communications except via government sanctioned communication channels. Electricity is scarce and North Korea appears black from satellite feeds, while the rest of the world appears lit. If anyone disagrees with ruler, Kim Jong-il, they are killed. There are stories of Jong-il killing his own family members by having starving dogs rip them to pieces.

Number 5: Nigeria

People in Nigeria are ruled by fear. The terrorist Islamist group Boko Haram routinely demolishes Christian churches and schools. The terrorist group claims to be protecting citizens from becoming Westernized. The country is in a constant state of political unrest and widespread violence.

Number 4: Ivory Coast

Widespread famine, political unrest, and multiple human rights violations are all ingredients in a recipe for being one of the worst countries to live in. Peaceful protests have turned into massacres, with the government’s leaders ordering protesters to be shot and killed.

Number 3: Democratic Republic of Congo

Civil war, starvation, political corruption plague the country of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The country is known as the ‘rape capital of the world’ due to the extreme amount of atrocious and violent acts committed every year.

Number 2: Somalia

Drought, famine, and disease kill tens of thousands of people living in Somalia every year. Civil wars and tribal uprisings, kidnappings, and government human rights violations are plentiful. Somalia is the 2nd worst country to live.

Number 1:

Even after the genocidal reign of terror the death of dictator Saddam Hussein brought, in 2007, it was determined that over 1 million people including innocent Iraqi citizens were killed in suicide attacks, being indirect targets of bombing raids, and other violence due to the ongoing war. The infrastructure is poor with over half of Iraqi citizens in need of housing. Being an oil rich nation, this country has lots of potential but with the current crisis in the middle east, it will be a very long time for the country to have a prosperous economy and become anywhere near a good place to live.

Time for the question of the day:

Do you think the people in all these countries realize how bad they really have it? If you lived in one of these horrible countries, would you risk you life or your children’s life to escape?

My videos are usually long virtual videos from my travels around the world. I provide very little personal commentary and let the images speak for themselves. When ever possible I use the original natural sounds with very little if any background music. The only speaking is that of the local guides when available. In this video I highlight some of the places I have visited between 2009 and 2013. Thank you for visiting my channel.

Travel The World 2016 | Top 10 Most Expensive Places to Live | Fun Life | Travel | HD 2016

Travel The World 2016 | Top 10 Most Expensive Places to Live | Fun Life | Travel | HD 2016

Description:

If you’re human, you’ve probably found yourself fantasizing and dreaming about living someplace else around the world. We all dream about leaving our hometowns, hopping on a plane, and just starting over. How refreshing are dreams such as these? Unfortunately, picking up your life and moving isn’t always the wisest decision. For one, if you live someplace where the cost of living is relatively lower, then moving might be a rude awakening. When it comes to living in other places, you have to take the city’s economy into consideration. Can you find a job there that will support your lifestyle, let alone pay your rent? It’s starting to sound like you’re about to run into the same problems that you had in your old town.

But living in some of the most expensive places in the world isn’t all bad. In fact, most of these places are some of the coolest cities in the world. Take Paris, France for example. Yeah, you’re going to be spending a pretty euro on a few hundred feet of living space, but you’re also living in Paris. This city has such historical and artistic significance that all of your friends and family back home will be envious of your life. Unsurprisingly, there are quite a few European cities that are the most expensive in the world such as Copenhagen, Denmark, where the local lager will cost more than a fancy meal. There is also Zurich and Geneva, Switzerland, and Oslo, Norway. In cities such as these, not only do you have the tourism bringing in money to the towns, but also politics, which tends to jack up the local prices quite a bit.

If the European way of life isn’t your style, then perhaps Tokyo, Japan is an option. Granted, the cost of living in Tokyo is really high, but you’d also be living in the technology capital of the world. Tokyo always has something exciting going on in terms of tech, as well as anime, gaming, art, and more. Not to mention that Tokyo also has quite the historical significance! Just a plane ride away is also Singapore, which is possible the most expensive place to live in the world. Renting alone will cost you over $5000, but you have a pretty good chance of finding a job that will support the lifestyle. In most cases, the cost of living will usually have a job market that will support you and help you be able to afford the extraordinary prices.

But if the Asian cities aren’t your thing, then heading down under to Australia will take you to not one, but two expensive cities; Sydney and Melbourne. These are the two biggest cities in Australia, as well as the most expensive. Granted, the rest of Australia is mainly desert, and the more you move inward, the cheaper it gets, and for good reason.

If you don’t believe us when we make these declarations, then check out the video and see what the indexes are for cost of living. It will both shock you, and perhaps even intrigue you to move forward with your relocation a new life, albeit an expensive one.

10 Weird SCHOOL RULES from Around the World - (Amazing 2.2 million views!!!)

10 Weird SCHOOL RULES from Around the World - (Amazing 2.2 million views!!!)

top 10 rules students need to follow from schools in other countries

Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg

For copyright matters please contact us at: david.f@valnetinc.com

Description:

In order for a school to function properly, rules have to be set into motion. Otherwise, total anarchy and chaos could ensue. Most rules are pretty simple as they revolve around the concept of respect in terms of respecting the teacher and students respecting each other so that there can be a productive learning environment. However, there are some schools that want to exercise more control, and they start to break the boundaries of personal space and living realistically. Some of these rules include unbalanced dress codes where girls have to cover as much of their body as possible while boys aren’t under the same restrictions. Some of these rules even involve food, which do make sense in a way due to food allergies. However, food restrictions have taken such a bizarre turn that parents are having a hard time meeting the demands.

In this video are ten unbelievable school rules from around the world. It is important to know that other countries have rules and standards that may seem weird to others. But some of these rules are just downright crazy and could very much violate the right to live as a human. The world is slowly changing and evolving to be more realistic in their school rules, but there have to be bumps in order for change to happen in some way. Whether or not these rules actually help students focus more on education, only time will tell. There are other ways to educate kids without crazy school rules, and trial and error will pave the way to that time.

Top 10 Most Safest Cities of the World.

In contrast to the top ten most dangerous cities in the world, there are still safe cities in the world, according to the Economist’s Intelligence Unit survey. The safe also has something to do with the quality of your living but merely focusing on the total safety of the people and the city. In the 2015’s Economist’s Safe Index, the criteria do not plainly calculate the crime rates, but it vastly ranged to the view of safety. With these factors that were considered, the study on Top 10 Most Safest Cities of the World was pretty much based on these.

Digital Security: It is the measurement of the city’s quality of cyber security, the identity theft frequency, and other determinants affecting the digital security.

Health Security: It contains the metric look at the average life expectancy of a resident of the city. It also measures the ratio of hospital beds and facilities to the number of the population.

Infrastructure: It includes the quality of roads and the size of people who die from natural calamities.

Personal Safety: This focuses more on the traditional safety standards such as crimes, the level of police engagement, and the violent crime rates.

Florence, Italy

Recorded August 23, 2008.

Florence is the capital city of the Italian region of Tuscany. It is the most populous city in Tuscany and has a population of 364,779. The city lies on the River Arno and is known for its history and its importance in the Middle Ages and in the Renaissance, especially for its art and architecture. A centre of medieval European trade and finance, the city is often considered the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance; in fact, it has been called the Athens of the Middle Ages. It was long under the de facto rule of the Medici family. From 1865 to 1870 the city was also the capital of the Kingdom of Italy.

The video begins at the Basilica of Santa Croce which is the largest Franciscan church in the world. Its most notable features are its sixteen chapels, many of them decorated with frescoes by Giotto and his pupils, and its tombs and cenotaphs. It is the burial place of some of the most illustrious Italians, such as Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli, Foscolo, Gentile, Rossini, and Marconi. Next it was over to the L-shaped Square Piazza della Signoria in front of the Palazzo Vecchio. The various eye-catching statues in this square include: a copy of David, the Fountain of Neptune and Hercules and Cacus. Next we walked through the narrow courtyard between the Uffizi Gallery's two wings. Next it was past Ponte Vecchio, a Medieval bridge over the Arno River. The video concludes at The Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore, the cathedral church (Duomo) of Florence, Italy. The basilica is notable for its dome designed by Filippo Brunelleschi, its exterior facing of polychrome marble panels in various shades of green and pink bordered by white.

Panama City

Recorded December 14, 2010:

It was not a very nice day during my visit to Panama City. It was completely overcast with occasional light rain. The video begins as the Island Princess drops anchor off the coast of Panama City in Puerto Amador. On my first tour of the day we drive through Indpendent Plaza and the rapidly growing downtown area with its many high-rise buildings. We then pay a visit to Old Panama. In the afternoon I drive through the former U.S. military base and once again drive through the downtown area.

There is nothing in this video from the Panama Canal, for that video follow the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pS60fPZsT5U
